If Notre Dame will be bowl eligible if they beat Syracuse and finish the season 6-6 ? If so, I would have to think a lot of bowls would be interested in the Irish.

Yes they will be bowl eligible. Wins over Wash St, Pitt, Navy, BYU and Stanford. I still can't belive they beat Wash St, Pitt and even Navy... They aren't on probation are they? Beating Cuse would give them the 6 Div1 team wins needed.

ND is not going to a bowl, all 5 big east bowls or taken they or not allowed to go to any other bowl plus all slots or filled with conference teams.

My bad. I looked into it and because of a change in the NCAA manual/constitution (this year so I am not up to speed) ND will not be eligible if they win. You were absoltuely correct.
