I just checked out the QB's stats any he has like 300 yds passings and 2 TDs on the season.... does this team run the option or somethin? how do they score points and average so many yards a game ... obviously by running but what kind of offense..curious..... i see a lot of value in teams that keep the ball for long amounts of time in the game...especially when they are layin below 7.... just dont know much about this particular team

The Cajuns were playing pretty good football early in the season then were hit with a bunch of injuries. Their quarterback -- whose bayou-sounding name I won't even attempt to spell right now -- has a torn meniscus in his knee and will need surgery after the season. He's still playing, and is supposedly in good shape, but the team loses a lot when he's not in the game. They also have a couple of linemen out with injuries.

If this game had been played in early/mid October I'd absolutely love U La-La at this line. But right now it sure looks iffy.

Another poster suggested playing the Over is a good play, and I'm taking a look at that. I'll play it light if I do, because I don't have a lot of faith in an inconsistent Middle Tennessee to contribute as much to the scoring as I'd like.

For those who have not seen LA-Lafayette, tune in to see RB Fenroy.

This guy is the real deal.

I can chime in here.

I go to school at UL and am very disappointed with how this season has turned out. Started the season slow then win 5 out of 6. Last week at Troy was ridiculous as we would have clinched the Sun Belt with a win.

Fenroy is for real. Probably go in the second round in April. Desormeaux (QB) is a threat to run and pass. Only thing is he has been nursing an injury I think in one of his knees and he can't cut right now like he has been able to in the past.

That being said... we put up a lot of points, and opponents put up a lot of points on us.

Tonight is the last night the home crowd will get to see Fenroy, Desormeaux, and the rest of the senior class. Desormeaux needs 7 rushing yards tonight to put him over 1,000 for the season and become the 8th QB in NCAA history to post back-to-back 1,000 yard rushing seasons.

Fenroy can break Brian Mitchell's (former Eagle) single season rushing record with 20 yards and more, can become the Cajun leader in all-time rushing touchdowns.

I was on the fence earlier with this game but along with the total, I'm going to have to go with the home team.

I'll be heading out to tailgate right after work and will be in attendance rooting for the Cajuns. Hope some of this helps.

A person who doesn't have a good time tailgating in Louisiana is a person who just can't have a good time anywhere. Amusez-vous.

Sure, ULL will put up points, no doubt. But will they be able to stop MTSU? MTSU has a "better" defense than ULL; it can hold them to fg's. Will ULL not turn the ball over?

If I take all this into effect, think MTSU is the play here. But also, last home game for the Cajuns should provide a little spark for them.

Small plays:
MTSU
Over

ugh, i just don't think MTSU an get it done...too much emotion here for the cajuns. the offense is just too high powered. defense, not so much. but MTSU offense can't compete with the ULL offense. i think i'll be on the over lol

"but MTSU offense can't compete with the ULL offense." zip060

Disagree,

MTSU Offense is not facing the ULL offense

MTSU offense is going against ULL defense that has more holes than a Swiss cheese donut.

MTSU offense will outscore ULL offense.
