This "energy" crisis is making a mess out of our economy.

I hold Bush partially responsible, but where has the do nothing Congress been? Both Republicans and Democrats have disappeared - they've ducked their responsibility on this matter by blaming big oil while doing nothing to alleviate the problem.

They say that any steps they take today won't start to impact our economy or provide extra gasoline for 4 or 5 years - but isn't this the same thing they said 4 or 5 years ago when this crisis began?

This crisis has been long in the making and quite predictable: The growing Chinese economy has been taking a larger annual bite out of avilable resources since the 90's. The price for gasoline hit $2 a gallon in 2004 and has been on a slow rise since then.

The only solution is to get rid of all the bums!

As far as I am aware every leech in congress has been voted in there.

So we're not exactly discouraging them.

Nice to see ya in here BB.

Meanwhile, as someone who worked actively in the Democratic congressional campaigns here in Florida during 2006 I can state with confidence that not one Florida Democratic congressperson made any such campaign pledge to "under all circumstances end the war...."

But admittedly, Hindsight Imagination can be Fun!

They certainley intimated that, and certainley know one from Fla. would dare say that.
Once the great takover was complete they were going to do wonders and shit cucumbers.
basically all they've done is what bush has told them to do.Pass the wiretap law and keep funding the war that they were against but voted for.

Well, at least you've retracted, "promised" to "intimated".

So props for a more honest choice of verbage.

Speaking of PROMISES:

1) How is that "no nation building" promise working?

2) How is that "jawboning with OPEC" leaders working?

3) How is restoring "honor and dignity to the WH" working?

PROMISES MADE BY GEORGE BUSH DURING 2000 DEBATES ...

I find it funny as shit ... lets blame everthing on the Dems

232 D
201 R

and a President who does not give a shit about the Constitution

This country is run and fucked by Corporations .... face facts we
are really fucked good on this one as this country sat back for
30 yrs and did nothing but roll around like a fat hog in a pond of
mud

The system is broke .... millionaires on both sides

Modern Day is burning from within .... the NAU pact signed in
March of 2005 is a total ass rape and the sinking of the USA Titantic
has water on the 3rd floor

Get the butter out ... the USA is toast as the Bildgerberger plan to
turn this country into a 3rd world entity aint far away ... we are
financially ruined ... our Army is broken ... we have one of worst
education systems in the world and a population that is clueless
what is actually unfolding ...

Enjoy what is inbound ... 2010 Pacts like the NAU and Euro-Med
kick in and this country is indeed like Franks said in 2004 ... just one
incident away from becoming a full blown Police state
