Miami has had lots of nationally televised games, notably a tight game with Florida early in the year in which they kept it close with the Gators through 3 quarters - then you have their recent win over Wake Forest, etc.
Nobody has really seen much of UVA. Not many national games if any. Most people are only aware of their huge blowout loss to USC and subsequent losses after and wrote them off. Their wins have gone under the radar recently. Even last year, nobody gave them credit because they never blew anyone out. All this team does is play solid football and win, very similar to Wake when they were on the rise and people were writing them off because they were Wake.
Miami is by far the more public team, and they are overvalued. Miami's offense can be horrific. HORRIFIC.
Then factor in this:
Miami's game of the year they circled was Wake last week. It was home, and they wanted to prove they could hang with the best of the ACC. They got their tight win, it was emotional for them and now they travel on the road to UVA, who has been an outstanding home team.
The only reason I would consider this play is because Miami may want revenge on UVA's 38-0 drubbing last year in the final game at the Orange Bowl.
But then again, it's hard to believe Miami has closed the gap that much since that game was played at the end of last season.
