Baltimore's defense leads the NFL with 34 takeaways, They are the absolute #1 best team at forcing errors...

but Pennington and Miami are tied for #1 at not turning the ball over.

Will Penny turn it over and gift wrap points for the Ravens, or will the rookie have to actually win (not manage) the game on the road?

Miami +3.5 for me. I'm with Penny.

Just saw the NFL Network replay. Miami kept the game closer than the score indicated. Miami has arguably the best coaching staff in football. They have the talent to pull it out but I think the injuries to thir O-line and WRs may ultimately do them in.

Scans33...You really have me re-thinking my position after dropping that zoom-up in there.Perhaps the Fins can "ASS-assinate" them with those moneymakers!

miami +3 at home. very underrated team

They are actually a very overrated team. I respect them for posting a nice record, but they have been skimming by all season, often times against dreadful football teams. They won a ton of close games, but you need to have a good amount of fortune to constantly pull out close wins.

On the other hand Baltimore has been destroying a number of their opponents. They have a defense that will absolutely eat you alive. It says a lot when the #6 seed is favored by 3 on the road at the #3 seed. Oddsmakers are not asleep at the wheel here. Baltimore is the much stronger team and deservedly favored in this contest.

I'm on the Dolphins. I think this game will be decided by turnovers. MIA has an NFL best +17 turnover differential, and BAL is in 3rd with +13. These things have a tendency to move towards the mean. And the pressure will be on Flacco, especially if the Dolphins take a DD lead. Baltimore undoubtedly is the better team. But this is a rookie QB on the road. There are three seasons, each with a different speed. Preseason, regular season, and playoffs. I doubt that Flacco will adjust fast enough.
