I think it is obvious.

The root cause for doc's situation in life is that he has an angry, almost genetic loathing for privilege, wealth, US Imperialism, multi-national corporations, big businiess, Republicans in general and George Bush in particular. Doc admires Oliver Stone, Noam Chomsky, Michael Moore and anyone else who is critical of the US Government and bourgeois culture. Doc believes that there is no enormity of which the United States is incapable and regards its entire history as an unbroken legacy of deceit and injustice. Doc's extremely predictable and tedious attacks will eventually exhaust even those that may support his idiocy.
