I truly felt that it was the right thing to do because while we have an obligation to protect our players, we also have an obligation to protect our sponsors...

Surely, most of you can see what a juggling act this is and what would you have us to if a title of a thread was defammatory against an indivual poster?

It's a tough call and that's the main reason for this response...

We do our best to allow free speech but there has to be some editing or we would be harming people who didn't deserve it by allowing sensational titles to occur...

Where to draw the line is very difficult but I do hear you...

you have good points BB... but I have said this a 1,000,000 times the MODS have NOTHING to do with what books come on this site....I am asked to HELP keep the forums clean and flames in the proper areas. and greet newbees help do a few small contests .. Thats ALL I do and I love to POST...If I was EVER asked to do more I would not and bid everyone farewell

I think that pretty much sums it up. I definately come here for info, but no one should expect this site to help you out when a book goes down. Short of joining the SGA program there is nothing that stops a book from taking your cash and hitting the road.
