Do you think it is "kosher" that Israel has nukes?

Is it fair, in you'r opinion that Israel is allowed to maintain an arsenal? Do you think we will ever tell them they must give them up? If they won't listen to the UN when asked to limit the size of the construction of a wall despite international pressure do you really think they will give up their nukes?

Israel is allowed to maintain an arsenal simply because they are backed up by the United States.....any large act of aggression against Israel would be countered by big brother USA.

Without the current US policy of coddling Israel and supplying all that free money in the form of foreign aid.....it would only be a matter of time before the Arabs got together and shoved all the Israelis into the sea....

Frankly I think we should pull the hell outta Israel, cut off all the foreign aid and let the Israelis and the Palistinians fight it out, because obviously they deserve each other.

Funny, I do not fear a democratic country like Israel having them compared to the above metioned Countries or groups having them

Israel has probably around a few hundred nukes. I would bet that most, if not all, are short to intermediate range. Seeing as they have had them since the '50's and haven't used them once in battle even though they've been attacked plenty of times from all directions, I see them as responsible citizens when it comes to this issue.

Despite what many have seen on the news, Israel takes a reserved approach with their armed forces. They prefer quick and decisive actions. I'm not saying that it's never happened but you won't see web sites with Israeli's sawing off some infidel's head and throwing it in a freezer as a memento.

The unfair part IMO is the lying and downplaying that is going on. The US should be open about its one-sided position on the Isreal issue. Lots of Jews in the US with a lot of power, so it's all quite understandable. The hush hush handling of it is wrong, though. The Jews should be smart enough to know that the truth always comes out in the end and especially in this day and age with internet and satellite communication, propagating lies cannot be the path to success.

As long as no pigs were slaughtered in it's extraction. IN all seriousness...we are friends right? So if they get invaded we will help them just like in all the past times this has happened correct? So why do they need to have nukes? In the event that we change our foreiggn policy?

Since Saturday, top Israeli officials have been warning that Jewish exrtremists may be planning terrorist attacks against muslim holy sites due to their unrest with current policies pursued by the Israeli government. There is more and more talk of an attack on the Temple Mount in Israel and so the government there is taking steps to increase security around that area. Because the ground is more locked down, that leads many to believe that terrorists may use a plane to destroy the Dome of The Rock.

the problem with israely citizens is they do not understand that what they do affects the whole world, this is coming from a jew and i am also a believer in israel. they are so focused with maintaining israel that they are not thinking about the consequences and its getting annoying. this is a perfect example, destroying temple mount to keep the territories occupied, if this happens theres going to be uncontrollable uproar.

how about this:
the nukes leak out and contaminate the soil. Along comes a cow eats the contaminated grass and has a split hoof calf. IS THE CALF NOW NON KOSHER
