Do you think in the next 5-10 years sports betting will be allowed anywhere in the US?

Not sure it will happen in that window, but its coming eventually.

Society as a whole is coming around to the thought that gambling isn't quite the most evil thing on the planet. Plus studies show that people are gambling on sports illegal anyway and its rampant. So the idiots in Washington will some day get smart and legalize/tax it.

Experts say within 3 years.

I think longer though & possibly up to the ten years.

Hopefully not though & maybe they wake up soon & understand legalizing sports betting nationwide will benefit everyone involved...

Not "anywhere" in the US...but definitely more than a handful of states. I just can't see some of the bible-belt type states allowing it (in the next 5-10 years). But then again, our society is changing every day so who knows?

It needs to be allowed "anywhere in the US" on the internet. I think most of us would rather log into an account and make a bet or twenty than go to a casino/sportsbook to place bets.

yea i agree any where in us online. or make us bet on-line with Vegas so Vegas is not hurting from it. Washington needs to tax it. Will be a huge money maker for the country. i want to see it in my lifetime.

Maybe Trump could have a top secret meeting with Putin to get Russian investors to build luxury legal sports books in New Jersey and Miami. A triangulation with Las Vegas, these could bring huge offshore tourist dollars back onshore. I'm sure the Dems won't mind.

Yes I believe within 3 years, same time Raiders arrive in town. An announcement that clownboy Goodell will be stepping down should coincide with the momentous occasion.

Becareful what you wish for - If the Gov Legalize it they may want to control it which means shitty lines & poor payouts. Games will come off the board if betting gets to one sided. Any off shore out will locked out, Vegas books will rule and post -135 -3 BS

I actually believe the opposite & that it could be legalized nationally before state to state.

I would think they want to have a handle on the entire process & all rules & regulations would be the same across the board nationwide.

Then again, if I'm wrong, probably not a bad thing cauz states fighting for it right now could get it much sooner...
