If I was that customer, I would hedge.......if he can afford it, bet 25k on Eagles -6.5

But when you day, "we have a customer".......do you work for sportsbook?

Also, does this book have any past problems of paying out big amounts? Cause the last thing I would want is to bet 25k on the Eagles, have it lose & not get my 95k from this book.......

Of course you do. You work for Sportsbook?

No I don't. I just copied/pasted it off their website. The reason I asked was that I'm not all that familiar with hedging and I wondering what was the best thing to do in this situation.

Obviously, one would hedge BUT I'd be very careful because Sportsbook.com doesn't have a good past track record. I'd be very leery hedging with them. Also, this comment on their site may be a sham because this Sportsbook has had issues in the past. It could be a marketing ploy to generate business.

Also, to Donker what would be the gain of hedging Philly -7 if the customer has Carolina + 7, especially if the game should end exactly Philly by 7. We don't know what the status is on a 15 team parlay and/or it it even pays out on a 14 teamer w/one tie and what would the payout actually be.

The hedge is Philly - 6.5 but I'd still be leery

*****Normally I'd wish him tons of luck but I'm all over Philly from the beginning of the week and need it to finish a 5-0 NFL weekend

My name is Donger. Not what you said.

The gain is that no matter what he wins 47.5K. In the event that the game lands on the number, his 15-teamer becomes a 14-teamer. Standard push rules for a parlay. If SB cancels the parlay on a push, I'd find a new book. Hell i'd find a new book regardless.

Edit: Did the math, and if the game lands on the number it should default to a 14-team parlay and he still wins about 50k.
