I Love the NFL ticket even though the price goes up each year. I can't stand being at the mercy of the networks to decide which game they are showing in my region.

I love watching football but I'd rather go to a bar and pay $100 for my drinks while I watch the game then give those crooks at DirecTV a cent of my money.

I didn't realize it at the time but all the trouble I have been having with my digital cable was well worth it. I cancelled that and have DirecTV coming tomorrow to set me up with them.

It just so happens that I signed up with them at this time because I get 5 months of NFL Sunday Ticket free for 5 months... which is this entire season. Looking forward to it.

Also purchased the extra sports pack with a good bit of extra sports channels...hopefully will have some extra college games as well. Can anyone who has the extra sports package tell me if you get extra college football games?

Received the Sunday Ticket since the beginning, ESPN Gameplan too. The bill this month was very big. Will get the Redzone package this year too, since my tv is crapping out on me. Off to upgrade to HD.

Had it last year for that into price which was awesome. Canceled it this year though, its just way too much money. Plus didn't really enjoy it that much b/c too many choices and was just switching channels whole time( esp if you do fantasy football). This year if I really wana watch will go to bar around house and there they have multiple screen so lot better and cheaper, since I dont usually drink that early.
