Do you guys think the Posters here at the RX have above-average intelligence as a whole?

I believe some here write very well and are obviously intelligent. Others are creative and thoughtful. However, many here write with very poor grammar. Others cannot spell. Some cannot put a sentence together.

Overall, do you guys think the mean intelligence level on this board is above-average level?

Moderators, please do not move. This is not meant to insult, just curious what others think.

Generally an eclectic bunch with poor spelling & grammar.
I think the group would perform well on Jeopardy, but would'nt trust anyone with the night deposit.

I can't help it. More from Dennis:

like the move the orioles made.
poson might have went some where else if the os could not match the $$ others whould have gave him.
this way we have 2 young pitchers.
also one is lefty even better.
these 2 young players will be god.
im 99% sure albert belle contrsct is over this year.
that will fre up alot of $$ for free agent.
also think scott eckerson is up also but not as sure on that.
if so the oriles will have money to go out and get two or three god players to mix in whith some very young tallent.
they are geting better all the time.
watched this taem all year.
thier skills are geting better.
but thier heart to win is even better.
they play hard every day.
this will ge them far if they countie thisnext year also.
think ourm first base coach has any thing to do whith that?
yes the big dippy played the same way.
orioles have a outside chance whith right move next year to be a wild card team.

You have to remember though....Many people have typo's and don't go back and fix them....I think most of the adults here are above average intelligence.

Two words I notice always mispelled....

'Tomorrow'..most put 2 M's in it...and the word 'Definitely'

some shake after they pee. others dont shake after they pee. some pee in the shower. some dont. some play checkers. others play chess. some cannot put idenitys sentances together in a logical manner.

So nice to see you using the "spell-check" function on your computer. I find your position to be especially disturbing when a poster is attempting to promoaeote something of questionable value.

Some posters will even ask another to take a flyer on an idea they are attempting to promoaaete.

When you post a lot some spelling and grammar errors are inevitable. I try to proof mosts posts before I hit the send button, usually I find small errors like double letters or actual typos where I meant to type a y and hit the u right next to it. Sometime they get by the proof read, other times I catch them and make a correction. I have also noticed being tired causes more mistakes. Bottom line no one is being graded for spelling or grammar, but it helps to post at least readable sentences.
