I do this a lot and have been fairly successfull doing so. Do most people here go with there first thought on a play or do you go back and forth?? If I go back and forth on a play I don't play it, it means I am not that confident. Different people have different mentalities though. A lot of times when I started out I did';t bet on first instinct and I was pissed after my "play" would have won.

Dude, I do play my first thoughts a lot and they come home to Daddy frequently and the others I break down, crunching the numbers and I would have to say my first intentions have been better overall!

Hunches and instincts are way better than capping. Look at the board real quick and whatever games stick out bang them.

JJ,
Don't you think if you see a game that sticks out, that the books linesmaker sees it too? 9 out of ten times they WANT you to go that way! Fade it!!

i agree with jls, if i a line makes me want to jump one way, i usually find it best to fade that thought and go the other way.
