Are you growing a moustache or raising funds for Movember?

I grow a crappy stache but i think the ridicule is fun and the cause is more than worthy. I am guessing about 98% of the posters here should pay attention to this cause

If you guys want to Donate to me I would be Humbled.

Please click the link below even as little as $5 can be sent by ******.

[h=3]Leadership & Governance Structure[/h] The Movember Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, who delegate part of their work to specialised committees to ensure that the organization holds itself to the highest standards

I was wondering and started reading and saw above and my thought is what is the Salaries of BOD? This like other causes have good intentions but I'd like to see a expense/revenue report. I don't want to download the audit so if you could attach a copy I'd appreciate. Thanks powerz

I do not understand why you are being a douche here. The guy is trying to raise money: if you do not want to donate, don't do it. If you feel like there are better places to donate, then donate there. This guy posted something to try to help out and you keep breaking his balls for no reason.

I will donate something later today Powerz and if the directors decide to go grab a beer with my cash, I will be ok with that.

I don't think he's being a douche at all, more like asking the perfect questions. And to add, "I'm perfectly fine with the BOD buying a beer with my donation" IS part of the problem.

No Shave November.

I guess we will just need to agree to disagree. I think the guy who started this thread had his heart in right place. It is not like he is on the board of directors and skimming money. I just do not see why he needs to defend this organization. If you want to donate, donate. If you want to check out the place before you donate, then do your own research.

I know you do good work with dogs MattyMatt and maybe this is more personal for you than me. I am not looking to pick a fight, I just don't think what Powerz did was wrong and I don't think he needs to do research on the organization.

I agree he didn't do anything wrong by posting for donations. It's a great thing. You're right, it is more personal for me. I see folks all the time saying, "I will only donate to a 501c3 organization", when in fact, it actually means nothing other than it's tracked for tax purposes etc. doesn't mean the BOD isn't taking it all, or using the funds wisely. Unfortunately, it seems the larger the organization, the worse they are at actually helping the cause they support. I stay local for the most part for that there reason alone.

Thanks Guys - I hope you both donate - No Info on the BOD actual Salaries obviously in the 4% Admin cost.

The fact is that it should gets us talking about our health - Get Up & Get moving - I have a desk job so getting 10,000 Steps a day (fitbit) is tough for me. So I started riding a bike to work. Little changes here and there

FYI a poster named Anthony did send $20 last night - Thanks Anthony Email sent as a thanks as well.

If you do donate tag it as team RX lets see how much we can raise.
If your tight right now come to the Hockey forum and tail me for November I'll bet by the end of the month you'll have $10 you can donate!

Thanks again guys good discussion
