Is this "historic" game even going to be televised tonight? LOL

I wouldn't mind checking out how RFK is playing for baseball, but I don't see the game on the dish!

I don't believe they do, it has to do with Balttimore, I believe they're working on it but at this time I don't think it has happened...

The Orioles have done everything possible to make it hard on them, including Orioles owner taking out full page Ads in the Wash Post reminding DC just where Baltimore's territory covers.

Interesting you should say that Brock. The Nats have a local tv deal. It is channel 20 in Washington DC. THe problem is (for me anyway) that any county in Maryland that's probably more then 20 miles from DC does not get channel 20 on cable or satallite. What's worse the games the Nats are playing nationally are getting blacked out in this area even though we have no way of watching them locally. The Braves/Nats series on TBS was blacked out. I called comcast and the they were getting calls everyday aout this but to this point nothing has been done.

Just to add a little more to the story. The owner of the Orioles Peter Angelos (I think thats his name) Is the owner of the TV station that has the rights to the Nationals. What a freaking mess that situation is. lol

You are right. I think that was one of the agreements he made with mlb. The good part is I would think mlb HAS to clear this garbage up soon. Who in the hell would buy this team with that kind of tv deal.

Angelos is scum

Besides looking like a troll, he is the embodiment of everything people hate about sleazy money-grubbing lawyers. The Nats will be on a local TV network owned by him - not the station itself - he is hoping to create a 'regional sports network' like NESN for the Red Sox - and at the beginning, he gets 90 percent of the profits, if there are any. That was supposedly done to keep him from suing baseball over territorial rights and exposing all their little secrets.

There was a party at a downtown DC hotel last night for the Nats, comlete with all the local station's reporters, the mayor and assorted ex-Senator players like Frank Howard. In the meantime about 15 minutes away in Chevy Chase, MD, columnist George Will (he is an Orioles season ticket holder) had his annual party for Angelos. Usually they have it the night before the O's opener, but this year they moved it for some reason? Angelos buddy Bud Selig was at the Will party by the way.

I am originally from the DC area. Northern Virginia actually. I remember watching Orioles, Bullets, and Capitals hockey on a fuzzy "Channel 20" growing up as a kid.

I wish I could get the game out here in LA. I might have to go to MLB.com in order to get the game.

Its on MLB.TV Cool to see that team play in front of a real crowd. I saw a game in Montreal back on a trip in 1999, Olympic stadium was a complete joke!
