Do Sports Interaction deserve their bad rap?

I was thinking of opening an account with Sports Interaction but was put off by hearing them described as a "deposit only book". Is that true?

Considering some of their lines, should I care if I get paid out or not?

Rookie, I'm kind of in the same boat, and here is what I've heard from various people here & elsewhere.

1. Any given player is usually allowed to beat them out of $10-15K before being shown the door.

2. It doesn't seem to matter if you are hitting them for the limit, or less. The $10-15K figure sure seems to be the trigger.

3. Their CS sucks. Always has and probably always will.

4. They will(and do) take up to a month to pay you. Most people seem to get paid at about the 14 day mark, but others have waited up to a month.

5. They pad their favorites to an extent that makes them a VERY tempting book.

6. With one or two very complicated exceptions, I don't know of them ever giving anyone a full blow stiff.

I was going to post up with them a couple weeks ago, but then heard rumors of them looking for investors or a buyer. I'm not sure if there is any truth to that, but it was enough to get me to back off for a while.

Their norm (by Neteller) in late winter / early spring was 24-48 hours.

Good to know Hali....I guess my point should have been to not necessarily expect it within 24-48 hrs.

Also, I forgot to add that many of the "problems" with them come from parlays or other "non-straight action" plays. If you stick to just playing straight sides or totals, I think you can avoid a lot of disputes.

Finanacially they are solid and if you play the main sports you will be fine.

Otherwise they are shit.

CS=PISS POOR
They won't pay lines they don't like in unusual sports.

I personally havent had any problems with them whatsoever. They have paid me within 24 hours most of the time. I havent heard of anyone being no-paid here.

they always pay you 24-48 hours in business days....

unless you are a scammer and they are investigating you.

When they boot you they are normally nice, if you are and will pay to neteller instantly.

I'll think if it's all right with you I'll stick to a book where when I have a bet it's not a parlay on winning my bet and being paid.

Sounds like SIA suck bigtime.

I didn't mind SIA defaulting on some of my bets but it was too bad when they ate my pet hamster.

I've never known a book eat a customer's pet before. I'll certainly be keeping a close eye on all my gerbils from now on.

Anyway thanks for all the serious advice.

SIA has been paying out via neteller pretty well lately. I requested $2000 yesterday and got it within 3 hours, also got a same day neteller last week from them. I am in the 10-15k range there right now so it looks like my days there are numbered but I would strongly recommend playing there for anyone who wants some easy money.

Good to hear Scoob.....and you are right-SIA is easy money, which also potentially explains the often bitched about stories of delayed payouts due to investigations.

With what they offer, they can not afford to have "sharps" with multiple accounts-it would kill them.

Scoob - if I had known then what I know now before getting the golden boot from SIA, I would have purposely tried to lose money there by betting high ML dogs and scalping with other books favorites, EVEN IF I HAD TO TAKE A NOMINAL LOSS. Played properly, yes, it would have cost me money, but it would have kept me there and I would have continued to be able to get those juicy lines, and given the nature of them, I would have continued to make a good deal more than I would lose on those plays. I'd consider it a surcharge for staying in 'business'.

I opened an account with them, placed a 5 unit bet, won, and they deleted my account. The next day they "found" my account again but there was "no record of that bet." They claim to be regulated but they aren't, the commission doesn't investigate anything. It takes them up to 5 years or more to look at your complaint.
