Haven't missed an election since I turned 18, so 20 years. Not just presidential elections either, I've voted in every Republican primary, and every local election. I keep telling myself this is the last time I vote for POTUS though. I'm starting to lose interest in politics altogether.

Never missed an election, and never will, health permitting. If you don't vote, you can't complain. I would favor some change that would make election day a mandatory holiday that would make it easier for people to vote, or make elections on the weekends, and for whatever methods, like Oregon is doing, that would make it easier and more convenient to vote.

I vote. And I don't want to make voting any easier for anyone. The polls are open from 7 to 7. There is adequate time to vote if it is important to you.

I want to make voting harder. The founders assumed an informed electorate. There should be a baseline test which includes American history and current events. No pass. No vote.

I think the saying should be, if you vote you can't complain. Keep voting, nothing will change

I would settle for proper photo ID.

Completely wrong. Voter participation is around 50% in the US. The rate of complaining and whining is well over 90%. How can you account for that?

Unfortunately, people stand on the sideline, don't participate, and then complain about the outcome. It is what it is.

Yes, Maybe I missed 1 in 40 years. Wrote in a republican past week. I am a democrat always was told in primary you can vote your party only in primary! Not so

4100 votes cast for Mayor with a population of 45,000 :think2: and my guess is 1100 of those votes came from employees of the city and their families!

People need a reason other than a job to vote. Sure there are some like myself who believe in miracles but we're dying and then what?
