I've seen this act before from several posters over the years. No record keeping, constant self promotion advising posters to check their picks in other sports, and touting their winners, while not mentioning their losers. The goal is often to go on a hot streak, and then see if they can go tout. When XS Power was posting here for free, he'd constantly post his record for the last 5 days, 10 plays etc, when he was on a good run, but never when he was on a losing streak, and would become very upset when I'd point that out. He built up enough of a following here to go tout, which was clearly his goal all along. Guys like DMG probably figure it's worth a try, and if they lose consistently, they can always open up another account under a different name, and try again.
Guys like Action and Big Cat, who've been very good here over the years, never pull this self promotion BS. The only reason to do it if you have an ulterior motive to someday sell picks, get Twitter or Instagram followers, or find some other way to profit off people on here. No other reason makes any sense. That's why DMG is compelled to tout his 5 star winner on Colorado, while not mentioning he lost units on the day, while he also touts he has a big day coming in the NFL.
FYI- Since 1/1, he's 23-26 in college basketball, down 36 units. The juice of -120 to -140 on a lot of his losses cost him about 3 total units. That would have been more, but he did hit a 5* play on Baylor by a point, when others took a brutal beat on Baylor this week. Over the long run, though, buying points in college hoops is a losing proposition, as most any half way knowledgable bettor knows.
