X-Large: 117-113

Large: 68-52

25-8 past 2 weeks...........teasers 9-1 past 2 weeks.........hit both huge plays in wildcard round & also had KC very big but didn't get a chance to post it, so it doesn't count towards the record.

I thought the wildcard would be a bit tougher, but as the weekend got closer, it seemed things fell into place.

Big Ben is like Steve McNair, ddon't worry about him, he will be shot up with some pain meds & will play. Waiting for a line in that game........I'm ready for next weekend already!

Patriots -4.5 vs Chiefs.........

Chiefs just won their 1st playoff game since 1994......yes, they were 0-10 until this Saturday smoke job of the pathetic Texans.

Now KC is going into NE to face Belichick & Brady off a 2 week break after losing their last 2 games of regular season. First time ever happening in the Belichick & Brady error.

I don't see how Belichick & Brady won't be ready to unleash some serious whoop ass on KC.

Yes KC shutout the Texans on the road, but after finally winning their first playoff game in forever, they will be flat going into NE.

I don't see a very high scoring game, but I do see the Pats & Brady scoring at least 24 points........

Patriots 27-13 final

Pats -4.5 (-115)......(XX-Large)

Will be back with 2 more big plays........

I wanna play take N.E but I'm scared because KC has the Dline to give Brady fits. Kinda New York Giants did in both super bowl match ups.

Adding:Cards -7 vs GbayLet's not kid ourselves, Gbay & Rodgers played well enough to beat Cousins & the Skins, but like I said in last weeks writeup, there was no way the Skins were gonna beat Gbay.......the Skins were totally overmatched. But let's not also kid ourselves about this Gbay team, they're still the terrible team that finished the season 4-6.The Cards laid down in week 17 vs Seattle, they had nothing to play for knowing Carolina would wax Tampa. Not saying Seattle can't beat them if they play again, but no way will we see a beat down of those proportions if they meet again.Cards coming off a bye week & well rested vs this Gbay team that's overrated after finally playing well..........Cards waxed this Gbay team several weeks back, & they will do it again. Palmer & the Cards defense will simply be too much for Gbay.Cards -7 (-120).........(XX-Large)Cards 37-17

I thought Pats would come out at -8.5

That is factoring everything incl. KC defensive front, pass rush, Maclin being out, NE getting key players back and 2 weeks to prepare and heal, etc.etc.

That 30-0 score is a misleading aberration. well into the 3rd it is a relatively close and evenly matched game. Hoyer throws an EZ pick ( would have been 13-7) and Watt gets injured (groin) and HC listens to Hoyer and leaves him in when Weeden was chomping at the bit (I know not a great 2nd choice but after 4 picks????...HC O Brien had no cojones.

Remember game started with a KO return for 108 yards where the returner was free and clear by the 18 yard line because the gunners were committed so deep and 2 blocks was all he needed with his speed.

To me this line is off ...but I will step outside the box and look back in and make sure I'm not missing anything.

I thought the line was low too, but KC has has won 11 str games, that's no easy task in the NFL, & the fact they won 30-0 on the road, the iddsmakers are taking all this into account......& the fact the Patriots had #1 seed all sealedup & only thing they had to do was beat Miami.

Pats losing last 2 games doesn't help either......this line is exactly where it should be.

We had 3 dogs & only 1 fav cover in the wildcard round........I'm thinking at least 2 favs cover in the divisional round........the Seattle +3 at Carolina game has me very confused. This line should be Carolina -4.5........Seattle played their terrible game, as did Pitt giving up all those points in the 2nd half.

I for one don't see Pitt beating Denver in Denver, but the point spread is a different matter.

We have both #5 & #6 seeds all advancing to the divisional rounds.......has this ever happened???

If bettors are expecting both #6 seeds to advance, I don't think it will happen.

How about the #5 seeds Chiefs & Gbay? Pitt & Chiefs have been getting a lot of hype before the playoffs, & now the sexy pick Steelers are in overdrive hype, as are the Chiefs.

I'm still studying this Pitt vs Denver game, but with Ben a bit injured, Denver's defense won't let him settle back there. And now that Osweiler wont be playing, maybe Manning has a shot to win it for them?

If Denver loses this game, time for Manning to retire his fossil bones.

I think you're right TCG. 2 weeks is plenty of time for B&B to come up with some new ways to cheat on Saturday. KC heaters on the side line won't work. Headsets won't work. Somehow their will be a blizzard of snow on the KC sideline while the NE sideline will be clear. Fucking cheaters. Fuck them. I hope Brady gets his dick stomped in the dirt like the last time he played against KC.

I am on the Pats at -5 with confidence. I lean Arizona but haven't had much time to research as I am a writer on deadline, but I might make a bet before I lose the ability to get 7-120. I also like Carolina. Don't know what to think about Pitt/Den with the Big Ben info but gun to my head I would bet against Manning. But again, I need to look into that one.

Like the Pats a lot as well. Vollmer is injury I am most interested in seeing updates on. If he is unable to go Pats will be forced to have Gronk stay in and block more than they would like. Chiefs are a nice team but shutting out Texans is nothing to write home about.

Nice run past few weeks. Hope it continues for you.

Like this matchup a lot for NE. KC corners big slow, play 9-10 yards off WRs all game, all year. Will get beat by elusive underneath stuff Brady will nail them all day, ball out less than 2 seconds all game. KC won't be able to move the ball on offense. Only way KC wins is if Brady implodes with fumbles and INTs, he will not. Brady more motivated than ever after the debacle, which everyone is forgetting about. Never question this champion, they will win and cover.

Carolina -3 vs Seattle......

This game has me perplexed with the spread......Carolina should be -4.5......why in the world is Carolina fav by only 3? Carolina beat Seattle SU in Seattle as a +7 pt road dog early in the season, & now theyre only a small fav at home with a (15-1) record? Makes absolutely no sense to me.........this reminds me of a couple years ago when Carolina was a +1 pt home dog vs 49ers & lost in the divisional round I believe.

Seattle should have lost to the Vikings, nice shank job by the Vikings kicker......I definitely knew Seattle would be flat after destroying Arizona in week 17, but thought they would win by 3 points. Too close for comfort for Seattle & this may have been a wake up call for them to make that run towards another super bowl.

We know how well Carolina has played this season, & that's why I, perplexed at this small spread.......im gonna have to do some studying for this game & may not have a play. will look if I can find something to push me into playing a side.

If anyone has anything to persuade me into playing this game, please share...........I know this some info out there that has the winner, lets figure this game out!

I think you said it all here pal. They are begging for Carolina money with that short line. A 15-1 team.....? Line should have been -4.5 minimum.

Seattle always plays them tough in Carolina.

I'm pretty sure Vollmer is going to play, right?
