Why I hate Direct TV..I am watching the Knicks/Cavs game and it is interrupted by Bill Walton and John Saunders...to tell us that many of us don't care about this game and it is out of hand so they will be switching us over to the Spurs/Nuggets game. Well, I paid Direct TV so I could see the games I wanted, not the games Bill Walton wanted me to see. If I wanted an opinion I would tune in to AM radio. I call Direct TV and get the old "All of our operators are busy, please be patient, someone will be with you shortly" Followed by a fast busy signal. Call Direct TV at 4 am on a Monday and all operators are busy for some reason.

Oh, Bill Walton don't ya just love him and his son!!!

If Little Walton and Shawn Bradley were stranded on a deserted island and the only way off was to score a basket. Could it happen? I think not!:nono5:

Did you know that DSL is faster than broadband cable internet?

I just switched and am paying 20 less.

What a bargain.

This is my pointless tidbit of the day folks.

Directv needs to adjust the way they provide the NFL Ticket. They have all their channels jumbled up, leads to a lot of blank (1pm. PST) games mixed in with the early ones. I also hate how some of the games are blacked out on their #700 channels, making the need to switch to the actual local channel. Oh well... still love the Ticket.

I don't think switching games is the fault of Direct TV. Sounds more like the network (ABC) decided to make the switch. One nice thing about DTV is that they carry CBS college hoop games on channels 616-18 so you can see all the regional games.

As far as the NFL blackouts, that has to do with the local channels wanting home markets to view local channel so you can see the local commericals.

Yeah, I realize this...it wasn't that way in years past. Oh well. I still wish they'd group their early starts together in the early #'s and the later games have the higher # channel. Guess that would make too much sense.

Depends on the providers. Plus DSL is stupid because you have to own a home phone which is prehistoric IMO.
