That is unreal, retailing for 45k colones (or about $105). I just bought this exact item at Walmart tonight, it cost $38!

Yeah, it's not the States. Electronics retail for 2-3x the price, 6+ months behind, and many items are very hard to find. A 64MB USB drive they want $150 for at Mall San Pedro, and I've never seen a larger one here.

Price is negotiable. 28k colones is about equal to mail-order + shipping & tarrif I believe, but haven't tried it (tarrifs are still a mystery to me).

It's just the memory storage card, not the whole camera (which I no longer have). It also works equally well simply as a removeable harddrive for a laptop, for backing up critical data.
