How the hell can you tell he was kidding, he says so much stupid shit?

Like how he predicted the Heat to beat the Bulls' 72 win season record.

LOL, yeah he is definitely over the top but I kinda like that. Him and Mark Jackson act like two dudes in a bar shooting the shit. You could definitely tell he was being facetious though. He even said "I'm wrong but I'm right" like yeah he isn't top 5 ever but he sure is great!

Patsfan,

You are the only person who argues that KG is better than KM. I like KG better than all of them, but KG is not even close to being the top PF. TD is #1 followed by KM #2. KG was a great player, but Timmy owned him.

Because 1 person argues something doesn't really mean its wrong. I could argue for days and days that KG is better than Malone. Duncan is the best PF ever but I don't know where this Duncan owned KG stuff comes from. He beat him in the playoffs a few times with a far superior team. If KG and Paul Pierce joined up earlier then Duncan wouldn't have 4 rings (it is probably not good I'm a Celtics fan and make that comment, but believe me if that matchup occured in a different universe I would bet on it)

I never said KG was the best PF ever. I think it goes Duncan-KG-CBark-McHale-Malone. I think you guys are seriously underestimating KGs defense in his prime (seymour said his D was because of his "motor", yeah ok buddy) You think its a coincidence the 1 year KG was on a good team and still relatively in his prime he won a ring?

since you started citing KG's T'Wolves teammates, I'd like you to look at the big men Malone and Stockton played with... I won't even utter one of the names for fear of contracting oakywhiteguyitis. Eisley, Vaughn, Keefe, Andrus, Foster, Carr... and he who shall not be named -these guys never played anywhere after Utah, why? Because Stockton/Malone carried them.

just my opinion, Malone is superior to KG - and don't get me wrong, I love KG as a Celtic.

You serious? Might wanna wikipedia Marc Eaton. Not trying to be rude but c'mon now. Also you say Stock AND Malone....Stockton is considered a top 25 guy all time, top 3-4 PG all time. That would be the equivalent of KG playing with Jason Kidd or GP in his prime.

Also if Stock is top 20 all time and Malone is top 20 all time I think its weird they didn't make finals until dream/cbark/drex got old. Even GP/Kemp made a finals before them and their starting C was like Earvin Johnson or some roleplayer rotation guy.

BTW I just wanna say I LOVE this debate lol! The other sports its so tough to really argue because so much of it is subjective and baseball is pretty much just all #s but basketball I truly believe you can get to the bottom of it.

My mistake, i thought you were suggesting KG was the best PF ever.

i would go TD-KM-KM-KG-DN

The thing with Malone and why people think he is so great is because he was so good for so long. Like when both of them were in their primes around 88-95 Barkley was clearly better and nobody would really question that at the time. However Barkley was pretty much just a solid player his last 5-6 years while Malone played forever and won multiple MVPs late in his career. When I evaluate the greatness of players I'm pretty much talking about the 3-5 year window that is considered their absolute prime. If you factor longevity into it guys like Stockton or Malone gonna rank a lot higher. For instance Isiah in his prime clearly was better than Stockton in his, but Stocktons prime went on forever whereas Isiahs was like 3-4 years.
