I would hope not. I post both places and find that unethical. They may have gotten the info via third party (sportsbook).

I hope not as well but I think they either stole it or the Rx sold it (which I find highly unlikely) because the Rx is the only one that I used my primary email addy at a long, long time ago. A shame too as I was considering signing up over there soon. Oh well.....

Just did some posting forum research and it looks like I'm not the only that this has happened to! Pretty unethical if you ask me, I'm sure some folks would've signed up over there soon if given the chance. I do admit though I balked at signing up earlier this week when I read a post where they were considering Sportbet as an advertiser. Didn't he proclaim last month that he would only take advertising from the "cream of the crop" and not questionable books? This email thing is reason enough to stay away. I will encourage others I know to stay away from EOG as well. If they could do this then it solves the puzzle on why I was getting shit from companies I didn't know when the Shrink and General were here.

Unfortunately, it seems either Ken or the General did make a copy of our player list while they were preparing to leave. We seeded our player list and all of the seeded accounts have received emails from EOG! I can tell you as the managing director we did not sell (and would never sell!) our player list to anyone. .....I guess the old adage is true........"Desperate men do desperate things!"

Thank you for addressing this matter Marty! When things like this happen it makes one lack confidence in who you entrust your information with.

Thanks for clearing that up Marty , I'm sure the posters appreciate that fact.

I would suspect such a deed could be actionable for the RX if it wished to pursue it. It's called stealing. I believe that Shrink and Generals wre employees when they left. The customer list was property of RX, not it's employees. IMO

It does NOT matter who stole what - It is The Prescription's fault!!!!!!!!! Shrink may be a scumbag, but that is another story.

If ex-employees of a sportsbook ran off with clients' NETeller info, would I trust that book? NEVER

Come on Cincy, they could have been stealing the info well before RX knew they might even possibly leave. Is RX supposed to not let any of its empliyees have access to its databse just because they might not leave. Databse management might have been part of their job functions for all we know.

How would YOU have stopped them from copying the email list? It's not really as serious as stealing neteller info either.

Dumb Question

Didnt Shrink own the site and could have copied it before he sold it? I also got the email. Don't really care. I was kinda happy to see something that would not make my d!ck grow 12 inches in 5 mins. I get that email 40 times a day and add it to spam each time and still get it over and over again. I guess the email god knows somthing.
