Even if it is true there is nothing stopping anyone from throwing a fundraiser to raise funds for a candidate. I can throw a fundraiser in my house for McCain or Obama, doesn't mean they share my views from 40 years ago.
What is also critical to note is that Ayers never killed anyone. Yeah he bombed some buildings during the 70's, but for the last 30 years or so there is nothing to indicate that he has been anything but an exceptional citizen trying to better the country.

BO is an empty suit with great charisma. Hes not going to do anything to change the climate of whats going on because at the root of all this is spending and nether him or the fighter pilot have any plans of doing such. Even if said below average fighter pilots supposed spending freeze was put into place, it isnt enough when your running record deficits compounded by interest. The reality is that Bush 43 has been such a debacle, it really didnt matter who was running for POTUS from the other side, they were going to win regardless. So all the neocons should take a long look at what has transpired over the last 8 years and start to really ask how to prevent this from happening again, because this is the ultimate case of reaping what you sew.
They should have put up a true conserve. How they arrived at McCain is beyond anyone's guess. He caught some momentum and then they backed him like crazy after they free thought in the early going. It was like "oh he has a small lead let's catch a simultaneous hard on for him."
That whole republican primary was just bizarre to me.
I can say with confidence that my party vetted our top canidates pretty good through out the entire process, I can't say the same for the pubs.
Is Ayers gonna be part of Obama's staff? No. Is Obama consulting with Ayers now? No.

If a canididate were unfit to be president based on relationships then McCain shouldn't even be the fucking republican nominee!! What about McCains relationships with Gordon Liddy? Thats just as comparable if not an identical relationship to Ayers.

Fuck man. Get over yourself already. The Obama campaign doesn't even make it a factor of their election. Notice how Ayers stuff comes up once McCain's poll numbers started sliding? Never once heared it in the previous 2 debates.

McCain isnt that smart. That about the extent of this. W wasnt either, and i think in many ways Americans are tired of led by average intellect. Americans are blind sheep and i think even that said, they are tired of the blind leading the blind. The reality is BO is going to me more left of center then all you neocons think. They always are. Nobody is tilted too far, hence the political game of musical chairs goes on. I mean Bush was about as liberal as anyone spending wise.
