Obama's reaction to Sarah Palin...The first thing out of their mouth was "The Experience debate is off the table"...

Is this PART of what McCain expected to happen???

Is it a TRAP that the Obama team fell right into??

Obama...The inexperienced member of his team is at the TOP of the ticket...

McCain...The MOST experienced of the FOUR CANDIDATES is at the TOP of his ticket...

Interesting discussion welcome..

experienced. neither have been presidents before. both are senators. mccain has been in there for longer then obama, but they are both in there. i dont believe mccain has held any position in any presidential office. being experienced might not be such a good thing, especially when it comes to the image of a politican by the typical american.

Experience is one thing. But it's another just in general to be vetted. To have your opinions to known. To hear the voice in various setting, answering tough questions, staking positions on issues, reacting to news. Palin has NONE of this. She's basically never taken a position on anything of national interest. She's never spoken on any foreign policy matter. Does she even have opinions? Who knows?

We know Obama's opinions. You may not like them. But he's been out there for many years. He took a bold Iraq position in 2002. Where was Sarah Palin? On a sled in Wasilia?

Ridiculous.

I want to know about BHO's past. His relationshipd with Ayers, Rezko, etc. I think that is important. But no one seems to worried about that. You have your worries I have mine.

Well then he is putting his country last not first.

Purposely placing a no name candidate we know nothing about one breath away from the POTUS.

Shame on McCain.

I think you give the man too much credit. Think he picked her because of her gender. May be a good move.

If it keeps a radical out of the office...that chums around with terrorists...McCain should get another medal.

This is about country first...did Bambi throw Ayers under the bus yet?

Didn't think so...

That's why he picked her - she is also very likable - and she and her family seem like real people - working people - not exactly Harvard and Columbia, tax the rich, pissed off at the US, runing with the reverand type of people

I find it amusing that it was BO is for change, BO is young, BO is not an insider, forget that his resume is thin. Now all of a sudden McCain picks a women of equal experience to BO and the bitching starts. Now you know what Custer must have felt like. You’ve been ambushed.

Dave it also works in reverse. All we have heard is that Obama doesn't have enough experience. Now experience is no longer that important. Pretty much why I despise politics. They make hypocrites of all of us.

In this case I don’t mind being a hypocrite. If it helps to keep a socialist agenda from occurring, then so be it. Only time will tell.
