I have read quite a few leftist posts that Bush is Benefitting from Al Queda Attacks and that he knew about 9/11 and did nothing so he could make money.

I have also read that Bush is the reason that Al Queda attacks the US and if it was any other President that they would leave us alone.

If my memory serves me right, Al Queda started attacking when Clinton was President. They attacked The World Trade Center in in the early 90's, the USS Cole and US embassies in Africa.

What did Clinton gain from these attacks?

He gained nothing and either does Bush. Al Queda would attack no matter who the President is so stop all of this conspiracy Bullshit that Bush is the reason for terrorist attacks.

Bush gains political capital

Right on the heels of a near 50% impeachment poll. What timing.

It's just a coincidence then that when w starts a war , the price of oil doubles and all of his friends happen to be in the oil business in Texas and Saudi Arabia!:think2:

Idiotic!

Only a fool would think a Repub President could get impeached by a Repub House and even more foolish to think a Repub Senate would find a Repub President guilty.

Didn't Clinton go to war in Bosnia? What did he gain from that or did that divert attention from Whitewater or Lewinsky?

Clinton did a great job in Somalia. American soldiers died for what reason? Doesn't it sound rediculous to blame Presidents for making tough decsions?
Sorry to point out your favorite leaders flaws.

After his presidency, Clinton identified his proudest foreign policy accomplishments as mediating peace talks between Israel and Palestine, resulting in the Oslo Accords. Subsequent events, including the collapse of the 2000 Camp David Summit and the commencement of the al-Aqsa Intifada, resulted in the Oslo Accords being widely discredited within Israel and in various Palestinian factions by 2004.

His proudest moment and there is still no Peace in Isreal.

I thought Clinton was tough can you imagine if Gore or Kerry were President, we would truly be fucked.

I think you have a comprehension problem. This post just wreaks of stupidity.

Regarding the first paragraph, the benefits for Bush are primarily political. For example, he used the 9/11 attacks to forward his agenda of removing Sadaam Hussein, utilizing the fear resulting from those attacks to get the support of the American public to invade Iraq.

Regarding the 2nd paragraph, you really have to be fairly dim to think that anyone ever said anything like that. If there was to be any truth to that statement it would be that Al Qaeda wanted The U.S. to attack a Muslim nation and Bush would comply by doing so. Although, I think whoever was president at the time of 9/11/2001 (if they didn't prevent the attacks) would have responded militarily to squash Al Qaeda in Afghanastan.

You are an idiot Cap. Bush is already rich and set for life. It is amazing that you think the reason we are at war is so he gets more money.

What were Clinton's motives for bombing Iraq? We have been bombing them since the end of the Gulf War. Was he trying to help make Bush and his friends money?

President Clinton's response to the Iraqi problem was well thought out and reasonable. As opposed to w's invasion, which scared investors throughout the world, thus causing the price of oil skyrocketing! Clintons reaction was not even cause for a small scale increase in the price of oil. Clinton's only problem was the Constitution and the incapability to be President to this day! Instead we get the great 'Uniter', Dubya! How sad!:icon_conf P.S. Maybe you should scream as you write ws, it may help your weak case!:toast:

CC, your so weak on your logic on the price of oil here buddy........do some research what and when the price of oil was at these historic dates.......Aug 2 1991, Sept 11, 2001, can't remeber the exact date of our invasion into Iraq 2002? And today....... Oil is a supply and demand not a war issue or Bush's buddies getting rich.

Yeah, with friends that give you controlling pieces in Major League ballclubs and then sell your share for millions to go on to bigger and better deals with your brother Neil and the Saudi princes, who needs more? Oh yeah, let's make sure noone sees our records with Enron either! He is beyond reproach!:103631605
