Detroit vs Cleveland on 08/16 by Jay_Robinson

Handicapper Analysis 0
Our last Hail Mary of the week is with the Tigers, who are coming off a 7-5 win over Cleveland as +186 road dogs in the second game of Monday’s double dip. See, they do win sometimes – and they’ll cash in even bigger if they do it again Tuesday night with rookie Garrett Hill (5.95 xFIP) taking the... um, hill.

Obviously the Tigers are in trouble here, but Zach Plesac (4.35 xFIP) is due up for the Guardians, and he’s down 2.88 betting units this year on a team record of 8-12. That includes two one-run victories over Detroit that could easily have gone the other way – the Tigers also beat Plesac 4-1 back in early July.
