So with quite possibly the single biggest domestic issue of our modern history sitting on the table, an issue the next President will be saddled with, President Bush invites both Presidential candidates to DC to discuss the bill, Harry Reid tells them to stay away.

Nope it's not leadership ... which is why Mccain was stupid to suspend his campaign and "go to Washington" ... because no matter what, he is going to vote the same way Reid and Pelosi do ... they're going to reject every suggestion he has ... and they'll blame him while they are at it.

The best McCain can do is a photo-op ... he won't be allowed into any discussions by Reid and Pelosi ... so why the fuck did he suspend his campaign? Did he see this coming?

Bushie would fuck Pelosi and Reid ... no argument there.

The only thing is that McCain can't be seen as Bushie's guy in a partisan battle ... he has to show independents that he is a leader and a uniter ... and Reid/Pelosi won't allow that to happen.
