Khamzat is -123

I know this is the best guy he has faced.....but based on the striking and grappling I have seen from him this looks like a great play. Only concern would be to gas because we haven't seen a long fight. But I don't think it would get that far

Interesting enough he was like -550 vs Maia
I do think 185 will be his better division

I would like to think Khamzat is too tough for Edwards and hits harder, and at these odds, it's kinda hard not to pound it, but the line almost screams Edwards. True, we don't know as much as we think we do or would like to about Khamzat, and Edwards has a good enough arsenal to land his fair share of strikes...

Khamzat Chimaev has beaten John Phillips, Rhys McKee and Gerald Meerschaert and he jumps right up to Rocky Edwards? Rocky hasn't fought since July 2019 when he dominated RDA.

I'm still not ready to jump on the Chimaev hype train yet. Not ready to crown him. Edwards at dog odds? Yes please.

I understand that line of thinking
Especially for one dimensional fighter
Especially strikers'

But go watch some of his other fights
He passes the eye test big time

Edwards is good
But I don't see anything in his striking that is exceptional that leads to stopping Khamzat
He won't out grapple him

His speed. power nor footwork are exceptional enough to me to say he wins this

Lets not act like every guy in this situation fails
We have seen hype trains derailed
But can you show me one this impressive
One that seems to be as well rounded with offensive wrestling and striking?

If this was -250 I would think twice about it. But it is not

Now it is at anywhere from -155-almost 2-1

Don't like betting early but as of now I got 2 units on him

This is a huge jump up in competition, Edwards is underrated and ranked #3. Khamzat has a lot still to prove and he may do it, but early lean for me is taking dog.
