Daylight Savings Time changes

Daylight saving time will end Sunday and to prepare for it, CTV News Toronto has made a list of all you need to know about the tradition.

What does it do?

Most Canadians will have to turn their clocks back one hour at 2 a.m. on Sunday as we return back to standard time. This means it will get lighter earlier in the morning and darker earlier in the evening. Most cell phones will change time on their own, but other clocks in your home may need to be changed manually.

I think 2 US states, not sure just leave the clock alone all year. I wish they all did that.

I think the main argument for it is to give kids at the bus stop more daylight before school ?

I hate this time of year with 5 + more months of winter coming

It's like cutting the top off a blanket, sewing it to the bottom and thinking it's going to be longer. Don't like it at all.

Yeah, you can't change the length of the day. If daylight begins like 7am, and it gets dark at 5 pm, you got 10 hours of daylight, can't change physics !

I dont mind daylight savings time.

It sucks for the initial 2 week periods in the Fall and Spring.

Last week (before the time change) it was pitch black at 7am.

I like summer time where it doesnt get dark until after 8pm. Gives us more time to "play" outside

You do realize that everyday gets shorter until the first day of winter? Then everyday gets a little longer till the first day of summer?
