fordham +8
.....they'll need more than luck to win the turnover battle on the road against fordham.
On this single point, you may be correct. Fairfield does turn the ball over more than most. I show Fairfield turns the ball over abound 22% of it's possessions and Fordham only around 17%. However, this game will not be won or lost on turnovers only. The disparity of talent is too great.
Fairfield can play a little defense and Fordham cannot!
While Fairfield is shooting 51% (and 37% from outside) against competition collectively rated #135 in the Nation, Fordham is shooting only 40% (and only 33% from outside) against competition rated #171 in the Nation.
But wait, it gets worse. Defensively, I've got Fordham ahead of only 11 teams in Defensive efficiency on
all of Div. 1 CBB....and this is against very weak teams, with a collective offensive rating of 280......YIKES!!!!
I live on the "left Coast", so you may know more of these individual players than I, but the numbers don't point to anything but a win for the visitors in this one. I'm not certain I'll play this game, but my chart has Fairfield by 13.
Gooid Luck on your action.....
