So are Havlat ahd Khabibulin.

Wings -236 at matchbook
Hawks +234

Lots of value in the Hawks tonight.

Wings may be lacking a sence of desperation and it may reflect in their play.

I'm staying away from the Wings tonight. Especially at that price.

But will be rooting for them like it was a game 7.

Anyone got any info on how teams have fared in the past playing a game 5 at home...up 3-1? Wouldn't be suprised if it's an under .500 situation.

it would be very unlike the wings to lose this clinching game, at home, with pitt already waiting, and the hawks #1 scorer and #1 goalie out.

...that's something the lakers would do...

What Chicago wants to do

1. Demonstrate more discipline and control than it showed in Game 4. Giving Detroit too many power plays is a recipe for failure.

2. Get into the shooting lanes and play hard on the puck, because keeping Detroit's shot total lower would help.

3. Remember how it played in Game 2 in Detroit. That game went into overtime and could have gone either way.

What Detroit wants to do

1. Get the Johan Franzen- Henrik Zetterberg- Dan Cleary line matched up against the Jonathan Toews-Kane line. It seems to be working.

2. Stay out of the penalty box. The Blackhawks have had a stellar power play throughout the playoffs, and the Red Wings have given up a power-play goal in 13 consecutive games.

3. Close it out, because they want to get to the Stanley Cup Finals without too much mileage on their engine.

Key stat: Dating to 1998, the Red Wings have won 48 consecutive playoff games when they have scored four goals.

Huet will start tonight, and I am not excited. I hooked Detroit with Lakers ML, basically +100.

i imagine this is a very popular wager tonight. kinda scares me. i'm taking a shot with a hawks/lakers parlay and hoping the beloved cut down on their blue line turnovers.

As big a Hawk fan that I am, I cannot see the Hawks playing the defensive game necessary to win. Huet in goal hurts.

1-1 in OT
Like the fact you have your Fav team but aren't a die hard homer.
"We'll beat 'em 4 straight ...........they will be lucky to get a goal"....kinda stuff.
On Hawks...........rather be on a +230 dog in OT than the Fav

GL with your Wings............next game.
