Dallas vs Minnesota on 02/17 by Craig_Brown

Handicapper Analysis 0
The Stars have taken two of three over the Wild this season with the most recent being a 4-1 win a little over a week ago. Minnesota has now dropped five of its last six games including a 3-2 loss on Wednesday against the Avalanche.

We should also point out that the Wild has been involved in three shootouts and one overtime session in four of their last eight games. That’s a lot of hockey in a small stretch and it wouldn’t surprise me if they are a bit gassed entering this Friday night showdown against the best team in the Western Conference.

The Stars have stumbled a bit themselves in losing their last two but they can be excused as they had back-to-back games against two of the best in the business when they dropped a 3-1 decision to the Lightning and a 3-2 loss to the sizzling Boston Bruins on Tuesday night. However, they’ve had one more day of rest than the Wild and should get back on track tonight.
