Dallas May Pursue WR Matt Jones

Dallas is an obvious fit because Matt and Jerry Jones are Arkansas alums, but Jerry might not agree that wideout is a big need. That connection looks like a long shot. The Jets could use competition for the spot opposite Jerricho Cotchery. Jones shouldn't cost much more than $1 million and will probably have to wait for a likely NFL suspension before any deal.

Matt Jones is not even close to being the same problem TO was. Would be a great fit for Dallas. Very athletic guy.

Dallas just made a huge "character" upgrade with kitna; so i don't think matt jones would be blackballed; hewould be a nice complement to the wr core; holt would be even better

I know Whale, and I don't doubt Matt Jones' ability & the fact he's not a problem in the manner T.O. is. It just really doesn't make a lot of sense, even thought it does in a way! haha

There's another thread where I actually criticized Jacksonville for letting him go when he FINALLY became the player they were waiting on.......

is it just me or has dallas seemed to have had more problem players in the last few years than the raiders have? matt jones will fit right in
