If I were them, publicly act like you beleive in him (he is still very young), privatley get him in good enough shape to show "flashes" of greatness, play him a little, then trade his ass to some dumbass GM for a haul. Get top 5 picks and players. After say 7 or 8 in the draft, chances of gettting anyone worth a shit is 1 in 50.

Fast forward to Game 1 of the Chicago Bulls’ opening round series against the Milwaukee Bucks. Rose had already proclaimed he still believes he is one of the best players in the NBA. And he showed he still has it – even in limited minutes.
In order for the Bulls to have any chance of winning the NBA title, they need Rose to be otherwordly — as he was in his MVP season prior to seasons wasted due to injury.
Heading into Monday’s game against the Bucks, Rose is once again all of the talk.
