Vazquez has made three starts against the Cubs as a member of the White Sox, recording a 4.95 ERA without a decision. He has allowed 10 runs in 13 innings in his last two starts at Wrigley
What's so funny about your reasoning is that the Cubs did win both games so far by beating the better pitching staff. After the Cubs got swept last series by TB, it isn't hard to realize that they can and will sweep the CWS.This isn't the same Vazquez as the NL Javy. Also he is a much different pitcher than he was in the past IMO.
Good pitching beats good hitting. If anything you could argue that Dempster will out pitch him but I don't see the Cubs bats being better than the White Sox pitching. Maybe you'll be right though I've been wrong all weekend.
