Just saw a commercial for them. Went to their website. Saw they can offer me the same service I have with Verizon for half the price. All of my stuff with Verizon is $350 a month. With Cricket it would be $150!!!! How the hell can they do this? I know Sprint and AT &T are similar to Verizon. How is this able to be done? Do any of you have Cricket? Share your htoughts on them if so. Thats a $200 a month savings!!!

Cricket had a great deal that I simply could not pass up. $30 a month for unlimited calls and unlimited text messaging. With a teenager who is always on her cell phone I thought what a great deal. That was my first mistake.

I went to Crickets website to place my order after entering my order the website got stuck on the processing screen. After 8 hours I decided to call their customer service number. The woman I spoke with assured me that because I didn't get a confirmation number online to go ahead and hit cancel and she would take my order over the phone. She swore up and down the order would not be processed twice.

When my order showed up I not only received the order placed on the phone, but also the order placed online. After checking with my banking Cricket had billed my account twice. I once again called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do until I sent back the extra phones. This of course would need to be done via FedEx and I was responsible for paying the shipping to have this done.

They have now had the additions phone that they sent me by mistake back for over a week. I called again today and was once again told there was nothing they could do my refund should show up in about 30 days. At this point I went back to the website looking for a link to contact them and file a complaint. There is no such link on Crickets web page. I then called a local Cricket retail store and received a message that they are unable to take my call and to leave a message.

So once again I called Crickets wonderful customer service department. All I was looking for was an address to file a formal complaint. After being questioned for several minutes as to why I needed this information they finally gave it to me. They then hung up on me.

Cricket does not even know the meaning of customer service! If anyone would like to write to them the address I was given is

Cricket Communications customer relations
10307 Pacific Center
San Diego, CA 92121

Although I doubt they now much more there then they do at the customer service department.

Crickets can onl.y be heard at night around here. There service is the worst but if you have a teen that just wants to talk to their freinds in the local area it is not bad.

Cricket is for people who have bad credit... It's a terrible service. I have several people I talk to who use Cricket and the connection quality on their end sucks! If you can afford the 350$ stay with verizon; if you can't, I would cut back on 1 of the services or you could call them and tell them you can't afford all the services anymore; they might reduce your bill?
