what is the wisdom regarding settling up with credit players?

provided you have already developed a relationship of trust:

it appears that most books use weekly payouts for most players... but what about "settle figures" or longer intervals between payouts?

Settle figures are great when you have a long relationship with the book/player/ The less you have to see anyone the better. But if your they type of guy who gets within a few bucks of your settle and then dont play for a while...........expect a phone call to settle

The wisdom is getting paid.

Not sure I follow you regarding "settle figures" or longer intervals between payouts. That's something you set up with your "trusted" players. No hard rules on any of it really. Personally I no longer deal with offering credit because the players I developed "trust" with over the years stiffed me for many many thousands.

Dealing with lay downs are part of the business. No one has a bottom less pit of money. If you earned off them feel lucky and move on.

55% why don't you take your "its ok to stiff" bullshit somewhere else. :>(

Who said its ok to stiff. Greed is on both ends my friend. You obviously are LOW on the totem pole. If a guys loses a bundle and then goes bust..and u made a mint off him...fuck yeah I wouldn't be as pissed..BUT if someone beat me for a mint and then didnt pay.....Then we got a problem......... Two way different scenarios.

55% I can assure you I am not at the bottom of the "totem pole", and that pointless jab had zip to do with me or anyone getting stiffed. A. I did not make a mint off them because they did not pay me. B. I paid them deep 5 figures over a 2 month period. Does it hurt me financially. No. It fuck'en pisses me off. They beat me for a mint and didn't pay applies to me and that's why i don't mess with credit anymore. I don't appreciate you saying laydown's happen move on like its ok. I'm not talking about a few dimes here.

However, I do see wisdom in your words and I am not interested in getting in a pissing match over this shit. I was pointing this out to the person who asked the question. You obvously deal with credit and handle it much better then myself. I understand your logic.

55% is credit
