Covid 19 Data Snapshot 7/14 – U.S. And Southern States’ Death Projections

Below are revised projections for Trump-Virus dead in the U.S. and southern states by November 1[SUP]st[/SUP]. I’ve revised the algorithm used by replacing the survivability rate with that recorded since June 1[SUP]st[/SUP] – roughly the date Remdesivir became widely used, which has had a positive impact on the death rate. However, although, once again, my death projections are more optimistic than IHME’s , the data several states hide – especially Florida – makes my own projections likely too optimistic. Nevertheless, both projections of the dead for the U.S. still cover 200k (due mostly to the southern states’ contribution), a bad number for the Orange Blimp to spin just a few days before the election.

Those numbers are staggering and for we know the numbers could get worse if those are asymptomaticm and who are not tested pass it on

to others who could become infected and die.

Also no one knows for sure how/if the Virus could mutate over the next few minutes, and which could make the numbers skyrocket if states are fully opened

and people don;t wear masks, practice social distancing, etc.

People have to realize that even though clueless governors like DeSantis declare it is "safe to go back into the water," doesn't make it so.

as we have seen in Florida and Texas, and thus to be extra careful and protect oneself!!

Then again though, as we all know, stuff like this is the last thing on Trump's mind with the Election fast approaching.

Your "southern states" spreadsheet BS is getting old and your linear doom-gloom predictions are laughable given how the virus peaks and then fizzles in any so-called "hot spot."

Keep in mind that New York City is the hotspot of the entire world, not just the United States. Had the failure of local leadership by Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio not occured, the United States would have come out even better when compared to the rest of the world.

Although the U.S. Dept. of Health held up distribution of Remdesivir – which it still stingily stockpiles for reasons only known to Orange Blimp – when it finally got wide distribution in mid-June, there was a significant drop in deaths everywhere, and is still having a positive impact. If NY and rest of the densely populated northeast had Remdesivir available in April and May, many lives would have been saved. And, since you prefer old news over current events, recall that if, back in early April, NY had gotten the ventilators Kushner was reserving for red states, or if the hospital ship Comfort hadn’t refused Covid 19 patients, New York’s death toll would have been drastically reduced.

And there’s no reason to lie. If you need a factual statistic you just have to ask. The dead in NY and NJ account of 34% of the 141,000 U.S. dead today – not half; and the southland’s “peaks” have had no “fizzles” in more than a month.

Bottom line: the Orange Blimp killed a lot of people in the northeast, and he’s now slaughtering more in the south - where they foolishly expect better treatment.
