I could see some problems for them with how dominate the Champions are.

I don't see any of the chanps losing anytime soon.

Brock should dominate for the next few years.
GSP No clue who can beat this guy.
Silva Maybe Hendo can step in ther again. Other than that nobody in that division has anything for him.
Penn at 155 is just to much for the small guys.

So with that said will it be just to predictable. I think upsets help bring more publicity to the sport.

Funny how they might get hurt with having such dominate champions.

Thank God for 205.

Eventually, Brock and Fedor will meet, and it will be the MMA fight of the century...

can't see how that can hurt the UFC and any sports where a champ prolongs his stay in their respected weight division or league. people will always want to see an upset. glad to see the favs won for the main fights.

It wasn't bad for boxing when Mike Tyson was knocking everyone out in the first round.

I think it was. What entertainment value was there to knowing you are paying $50 for 3 minutes. Thats why I didn't buy any of his fights.

I need value when I buy something. Watching 3 minutes is not worth it.

Well with GSP's ground dominance and lack of finishing skills lately, you are guaranteed 5 rounds from him every time out...

LOL. I'm sure boxing just hated having Tyson around. Man, you're stupid.

So you waste your money when you know the results and get no value in it.

Even Dana White is concerned about not having good matchups for these guys. Look at BJ Penn Florian lost to Sherk and Sherk got killed bye Penn. Florian had to fight a few pansies to work him back up to get Penn.

There is no good matchups for these guy. GSP will get destroyed bye Silve.

Lesner looks like he will be dominate for a while.

well i would have to disagree with you some of the points and champs, brock can be beat either by fedor, or someone in simliar size and more knockout power, like shane carwin who will most likely get a title shot if he beats cain, gsp is not beatable right now, spider will get slip up once and he is in a tough spot going to fight in 205, and bj penn was somewhat exposed and the competition in the lw is only gaining on him.

2 of these fights were grudge matches..........2 of the matches featured very experienced guys like St Pierre and Henderson who you cannot simply get pissed, show up and expect to win. Bisping had no gameplan whatsoever and was not listening to his corner at all. Alves was afraid to lay it out there against St Pierre and stood there straight up and waited for him to attack and take him down. He would have been better off forcing the issue, throwing a knee or two and potentially getting in a hit or two rather than waiting to dominated.

Poorly executed gameplans if so......I think fear forced both to abandon their plans. You must respect the strengths of your opponent but you must also believe in what got you there as well. We watched some great fighters taking on some athletic opponents....no where near great. Was fun to watch!

Florian lost to Sherk and Sherk got killed by Penn. True.

Shonie beat Matt Serra and Serra TKO'd GSP.

MMAmath does not always work.

Florian has a legit shot.

Upcoming UFC fights with huge drawing power...

Lesnar vs. Cain/Carwin winner.
Spider Silva vs. Hendo 2.
Lyoto versus Rampage.
Chuck vs. whoever.
GSP vs. Diego would be huge.

Anyway, my point is there are great fights out there and also in a few months there may be guys who you never considered that people want to see take on the champ.

Agree there are many good fights to be fought. But why would GSP-Diego be huge? Diego dropped to 155 because he thought he could do better there. If Alves and Fitch are getting handled by GSP, Diego has no real shot.

Forgot about Diego going down. Replace him with Penn. Sanchez has a ton of drawing power. Casual fans know who he is from TUF.

I'm pretty sure Diego is planning to stay at 155. Casual fans know who he is, but he isn't really anyone's favorite fighter. It just isn't a big fight to me, he tried his hand at 170 and he could never get to a title fight with GSP.

The Mexican demographic, which is growing rapidly, likes him cause of his heritage. With Huerta wanting to act and do movies, Diego becomes a big fan favorite in my opinion.

The guy hurt his groin in the 3rd round. Without the groin injury he would have finished the pitbull. I like GSP over Anderson Silva. I hope this fight happens. It might take GSP awhile to recover from his groin injury.
