Miss Ifill acknowledged Wednesday not telling the Commission on Presidential Debates, about the book she is writing.

Contact the Presidential Debate Commission at (202)872-1020 and let them know that it is inappropriate in tonight's debate for Gwen Ifill to serve as moderator (the very word means "neutral" for heavn's sake!)

She should have disclosed that tiny little detail. Then again, is anything truthful in the media?

Debate moderators were agreed upon on August 6. Ifill's book was reported on by the AP and in many newspapers two weeks before that on July 23 (see, for example, http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/jul/23/smiley-faces-blog-anger/ --if you're not from the D.C. area it might help to know that The Washington Times is to the Washington Post what the New York Post is to New York Times.)

As far as newspapers go, well Sarah Palin reads "all 'of em" so she surely knew about the book. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRkWebP2Q0Y

If McCain camp had a problem with Gwen Ifill, then why didn't they raise those objections before they agreed on August 6 to have her serve as a moderator. As the prior post indicates, it was well known that that she was writing this book. They are just whining now to either a. lobby for more softball questions or b. complain afterward if she bombs. Just another example of the McCain camp flailing away because they are losing.

I thought about calling them to tell them it was inappropriate to have Biden take part in the debate and then I thought better of myself. I want the world to see the trainwreck that is about to happen on both sides.

Give us a good show Joe.
