This 3rd place finish was the climax to probably my greatest day ever gambling. How's this for a great day - I went 6-1 playing various games in the NFL and NBA; I came in 2nd for the yearly prize in my office pool; I won the Grand Prize in Gameday's "Against the Spread" year long pool (over 1300 contestants) AND won their December pool too; and I even went 2-0 in the BCN basketball pool. And the best part is that it all happened on Jan 2, so I won't have to pay taxes on any of these winnings til APRIL 2006!!!

A top three finish would have capped off what has been a very profitable day/week. I've been on a tear wagering on the World Junior Hockey Championships! (documented in the Hockey forum).

How much was the Gameday pool, if you don't mind me asking?

here's a tip: if you have 5Dimes or Olympic, play on Canada tomorrow night. This is their year!

The gameday yearly pool was for a dime; the monthly pool was for $300. Thanks for the tip - if your as good capping hockey as you are foots, this should be money in the bank.
