I have windows XP.. and lately I have to manually change the time on my clock. its falling 2 and 3 minutes behind every day... which is a huge deal when you wait til last minute to pull the trigger on some games.

anyone know the cause of this? or how to fix it ?

I would but most here would rather see you disappear than keep you safe at home posting.

Noreaga, I had the same problem for the longest of time and just last week had my computer reformatted and problem solved. I think a worm was the cause of my problem....... I opened an attachment.

It's definatly a virus or trojan of some sort. Noreaga goto www.trendmicro and do there free virus/trojan scan and see if that picks anything up, if it does I would suggest getting tyheir PC CILLIN virus/trojan remover and also get a spyware remover like Spysweeper or Spybot...

Windows XP has built in fuctionality to keep time synchronized without any download.

From Start Menu open control panel and click on Date, Time etc, then select control panel icon Date and Time. Pick the tab Internet Time and select an internet site for synchronization. I use time.nist.gov.
