I have been inspired by some awesome write ups to post one up my self - Thanks VIC and Feddz for last night.
I have been doing a bit of work on OT games lately, I have been recording the Money Line moves and comparing them to Regulation time moves. Nothing concrete to report just yet but what I have noticed is that wehn the two lines move in concert with one another the Fav has covered. However when the ML moves but the regulation line does not I have noticed the Dog has won and twice in OT. Keep in mind I have only bee tracking for a week so the numbers are not significant.
COL at COL - The overnight line rose by 14 points & so far today the Av's have gone up another $.10 - Yet the Regulation line for the AV's has not moved.
So we have big steam on the Home Fav, but no steam in regulation
In looking into this game H2H 5 out of the last 10 games have gone to OT.
In Looking at the last 10 games for each team 60% have gone to OT- Thats 12 out of 20.
This makes sense two teams looking up at the Playoff line, every point matters they play conservative in the last half of the 3rd to guarantee a point. Both teams have played well recently to with 7 wins in their last 10.
CBJ has been bad in back to backs this year 0-4 but after last nights poor effort in Arizona I expect a spirited effort.
YES to OT +289 2*
