Ok first off the colts. I saw some of the game between them and the ravens last week, and several other games before that. I am still not impressed with the colts. They should have lost a bunch of games the weeks before and the win against the ravens was/is kinda deceptive.

LEt me explain. Teams that normally come off tough defensive battles, hard hitting games, normally dont cover the week after. The ravens were seriously battered by the titans the week before and lost a gut wrenching game. Some even went as far as claiming that the refs gave the titans the game. Though if i remember correctly, that ball was put on the titans 35 yard line. The ravens had 65 yards worth of field left to defend and they failed woefully, being beat down by a back qb and Wr that no one on this forum can name without cheating by peeking at NFL.com.

So the ravens matchup with the colts, and start out by making bad turn overs early in the game. Once the colts scored on these, turn overs, the ravens were screwed. Game over! The ravens cant pass the ball for shit!
But stupidly enough, they figured the best way to dig out of the self created hole was to pass. A stupid idea in my opinion.

This is why i say that win was deceptive.
And i say that yet again, we shall see another deceptive win by the colts playing at green bay this weekend. Greenbay is secretly hiding one of the worst defenses in the league right now. Their starting corner harris is out. and they are down to their 3rd string safety. (bigby was out and the back up went down this week) Packers actually struggled to beat Charlie fry and the bungling seahawks actually trailing them 10-3 early on. Even with two ints, the pack only managed to score the game sealing FG with 8.41 left in the 4th. The charlie fry hawks were still in striking distance of the pack and needed the aid of an INT to put the game away. (fry had two of them) I simply dont see manning being this generous to the packers defense. I also dont see how the packers will pressure manning. And once left free to do his bidding, manning will pick apart that secondary.

Second game is the titans vs the Chiefs. chiefs will yet again be switching QBs. Talk about a lack of chemistry for the team. I really think its a huge deal QBs have to know their players, instincts and rythm so as to have a fluid offense. You have to get time with the o-line, they too have to know you and your tendecies. There is a huge difference between a kerry collins and a tony romo. blocking for Collins is easier. He doesnt dance about too much (of course this is easy when your o-line is keeping people from penetrating) and he gets rid of the ball quickly when people get into his back field. He is not a scrambler or scrapper. He will rather throw a ball in the stands than throw an int where there is no play.
Brodie croyle does not have this comfort with his o-line..(Goodness gracious is he going to need help facing that monstrous titans defense)

I do hate one thing about the titans. They dont blitz enough. Jim schwartz is getting way too much praise around the league as a great d-cord. But in my opinion he sucks. He simply relies on great depth on his d-line so he wears out the line by only sending 4 of them to pressure the qbs. Seldom does he blitz and he may be the worst blitzer in all of football (yes the titans are dead last in blitzes.)

They have a killer corner in Temujin.(har har...there is a little nugget for real football fans to figure out who temujin is) a great safety in griffin, both with 4 ints both leading the league in INTS (woodson of the pack is tied with them) and the D.C is too much of a pussy to send in blitzes with these killers on his defense! (Watch how some stupid team is gonna hire him as a coach next year...I swear, i will make a post lambasting said team when this nappens)

But back to chiefs vs titans. Chiefs are giving up close to 180 on the ground. Titans are coming in with one of the leagues most potent rushing rookies in Chris johnson. (i know because i am facing this runt in my fantasy league, i am scared shitless that he will have 2-3 tds) What is scary mostly is that the titans running backs dont fumble! At all. They have zero turn overs this year.

I do have some news on a titans running back. ( i wont name names) but apparently he is a known alcoholic and cigar chain smoker. :ohno:. Dont ask me how in the hell some one can be a premier back in the league and drink as much as he does and smoke at the same time. But apparently this is becoming a dirty joke in nashville. Gamblers unload on this team, the titans when they see said player and one of 3 haunts he frequents weekly (and yes even on fridays, when he is playing a game on sunday) and casually downs a whole bottle of Patron..(i bullshit you not) I know one day i will be back on this story.. Apparently the team cant cover unless he keeps up his routine.

What do you guys think of those seemingly soft vegas lines? Do the titans over look the chiefs? Will the team drunk fumble the ball at key times?

Will the colts annihilate the pack in a blow out at lambo field?

Colts may be the best bet on the board this weekend, Titans should easily cover too.

Indy is all over the place IMO

1) Peyton clearly suffered from no preseason work. he and his WR/TEs need that timing and that work. It's taken some time for that to happen and it doesnt help that the OL was shaky to begin with (e.g. no Jeff Saturday) and the running game sucked and still sucks. It also didnt help that Marvin is a step slower from his injuries and offseason issues

GB isnt that great IMO. Losing to Atlanta showed it. Beating a sorry Seattle team last week proved nothing. It's Indy or nothing for me though. They seem to be improving and GB is just.....meh

Tenny is overvalued but should still win this game. I think KC will wither against that defense.

Hm.. Colts also still have issues with their d-line. I believe some one called hayden is out now. they have to shuffle people around.
Though greenbay simply doesnt the horses to take it to manning. Especially with that secondary.

Addai missing, is big, dont play it off as a small issue. Though i do think, that the passing game may be what is featured by the colts.

as you can tell, i am bothered about this game. (worst yet, when a friend of mind asked me to guess this line, i said Colts-10.. I almost fell out of my chair when he said it was a pickem!

I dissagree, as Rhodes has been far more productive. Addai has lost a step this year.

The Chiefs give up the most rushing yards per week and have allowed 9 RB TDs. They are getting killed by RBs. Tenn with White & Johnson should go OFF in this game.

For what it's worth Indy's running game is dead last in the league at 69.4 avg ypg so maybe a change would be good for them, lol. I think as Peyton goes the Colts go and as someone mentioned above they're starting to gel a bit lately. Gb is stout against the pass however but I'm not sure that will matter here. All stats aside I think Indy has the motivational edge here with Tenn on deck I think they come to play here, they lose here and Tenn that's a tough a road in front of them.

Packers just beat a very bad and beat up Seattle team.. Game before that at home they were handled by an improving Falcon team.. I see Manning and Wayne having a big day here and Rhodes having a nice game on the ground.

Big mistake people make in handicapping defensive stats, is over looking the entire spectrum on the defense. I will confess, i actually thought that greenbay is one of the worst pass defenses in the league. I have seen many games of theirs and they cant seem to cover any one at all. Their starting corner harris is still out, both the starting safety and back up are out.

So you can imagine my shock when i read that you said they are stout against the pass. I quickly went over to nfl.com and i was shocked to find out that they are ranked 7th against the pass. Immediately alarm bells went off in my head. Something is wrong here. I have seen the packers play and i know for sure their defense sucks. I went and checked out their run defense stats, and i found my answer. They are ranked 27th on run defense giving up a league worst 5.1 yards per carry (yes even worse than the chiefs) And teams are only averaging 30 rush attempts on them..Again its a league worst if you consider that they teams ranked lower than them are averaging 34 yards per game. (means that opposing teams have had to have more rush attempts against these teams to rack up all that yardage while teams dont need that many rush attempts to rack up alot of yardage against this defense)

Greenbay will definatly try to shore up their run and then get badly torched by manning.

Don't forget two weeks ago the Colts needed a miracle to win at Houston. They lose that game, under the same exact circumstances of course, 99 out of 100 times. The line is what it is for a reason and that reason is not to give the public a ton of free money.

Colts win this game by 10+ Manning is close to 100% and he will carve that D like a pumpkin. Reggie and Marvin will both have huge days. I understand completely that the Colts D is far from stellar, but they are very opertunistic and should get thier fair share of turnovers. This is your last week to get these Colts at a value. Jump on it and fill your pockets now!:toast:
