This game is quite possibly going to be the most exciting game of the entire playoffs this year. I actually see this being more of a defensive battle than most. Bob Sanders with a Int late in the game to setup Adam V. for a game winning FG.

colts have beaten all the playoff teams except miami and 3 of them were on the road....i definitly love the under here but i see a little bit more scoring of more like a 27-21 game.

Coaching: Coach Fungy is way overrated. Average at best coach with the best QB of alltime. Average head coach promoted by the media for whatever reason.

ST: Indy's special teams suck.
DB's: Crow bar martie is easily the best DB in this game. Bob Sanders is heavily overrated but I like Bethea, the guy hits hard. Bob the midget Sanders needs to keep his midget ass healthy before he gets any props from me.

LBs: Gary Bracket has a HUGE head. He is slow and another overrated player. One of the least athletic LB's in the entire NFL. Yeah he play's smart, but his head needs to be even bigger and he needs to be even smarter for me to want him on my team.
DE's: Freeny is a pass rusher but weak against the run. The Colt's D-Line has better pass rusher, but they aren't 1/4th as good against the run as Luis Castillo, Jamal, and Igor. SD has one of the best 3 -4 defensive lines out there, they are studs vs the run and control their gaps.

RB's: You'd rather have Rhodes/Addai than Tomlinson/Sproles? Are you on crack cocaine?

QB's: Priscilla Rivers is overrated and as good as Manning is he doesn't even get the credit he deserves. He should hands down easily be the MVP of the league not even close. If you take him off this team they are the 2 win Bengals. He led them to the playoffs despite the early injuries.



I don't know if you are just a heavy Colts homer or you don't understand football. Juding from you saying that WR takes more knowledge to play than TE, I'd go with the latter.

My man, we have agreed on alot of things but not here. I dont think Dungy is the greatest coach of all time but I think he is one of the best around. He took those sorry TB (when they used to stink so bad) to the PO's. He also took Indy to the PO's and won a SB with them. Yes, he is supported by one of the greatest QB of all time but I didnt see Mora do anything when he had Peyton.

Bob is sick. The dude is everywhere. He can play both the pass and the run like no-ones business. The biggest problem with his game is staying healthy. The man plays one game and is out for 3 - WTF?

I would take LT and sporles over Addai and Rhodes anyday.

Marvin is getting slow and looking like a possession WR rather than the explosive WR he once was. Gonzo has impressed me alot and Wayne is solid. But Jackson is too big, strong, and fast. He's becoming a solid WR and I'll take his ass over Marvin anyday. Dallas is nice but Gates is great. Chambers hasnt done much this year but he's good too. With all that said, I would think the WR/TE core would have to be even - maybe a slight edge to the Colts b/c of Manning.

The cover 2 D doesn't need big heavy run stoppers. Its all about speed, play recognition, filling gaps, etc... They never had a big DT like Stroud or Haynesworth. Actually, Indy is running a tampa 2 not a cover 2. As long as gary is filling gaps and playing his zone...he's fine. Is he a Brian Urlacher type of MLB? HELL NO! But you dont need to be a Brian Urlacher to play tampa 2.

The problem with SD 3-4 is the pass rush. Thats why their freaken pass D is some shit. No DB can check a WR for more than 5 secs. I don't give a shit if its Champ vs freaken Marty Booker. Once a play is broken and a WR starts running around...hell no. A DB reads the play and either jumps it or covers it. If the route turns into a freaken highway 270 intersecting 495...no chance. I give Cromartie and Jammer alot of respect but unless SD bring some heat on Manning, Manning is gonna rip them a new asshole.

Manning struggles against a 3-4. Thats a given. And if the rushing game stinks, and SD brings the heat...Colts will get bitched. But this is all about if's and buts.

Personally, I think Indy wins this. Why? Cause too many people like SD. Thats my only reasoning. Cause I can find any reason to back any of one of these teams. Good luck to whichever team you choose. Its gonna be one hell of a battle.

Dungy is a good coach. Not the best ever but I don't think I've ever heard him called overrated. The guy built the Bucs team that won the Super Bowl and the Colts consistently win 11, 12 games a year. If anything the guy gets short changed .

Well it is a lot easier to have more units when...
- You count a 27-24 SF -3 win over Wash as a win and not a push
- You rate me as losing .5 units week 13 when I won .5 units.
- You don't count an 8.75 unit prop I won
- My normal bet is 1 unit and yours is 2.5 as you claim.
- I'd agree not to count those 4.8 units I won on season win totals, but the MVP wager was made in week 16 so it should count.

That puts me at
30.75 with an average 1 unit bet ( as it should be)
You at 21 units ( assuming you didn't lie more) with a 2.5 unit bet.

So I am up 30.75 units over .500
You are up 8.5 units over .500

I won more units
made less bets ( paid less juice)
had a better winning percentage

I never said I don't like Indy. I think it is the easiest game on the board this weekend.

But to say that Freeney + Mathis plus the tackles are easily better than Jamal Williams/Igor Olshansky and Luis Castillo is not true.

Freeney + Mathis will rack up more SACKS in a season but they aren't nearly as good against the run and play a totally different style of defense. The objective for the Chargers lineman are to play the run and clog up lanes ( which they do very well), while the Colts are ends are designed to be their playmakers.

I think Freeney is highly overrated because he sells out to get sacks and isn't very good vs the run. He isn't a complete player. He is a pure rusher that sells out vs the pass. Jamal Williams for SD is the exact opposite. He is a fire heidrant in the middle of the D that clogs the run like nobodies business. You can't move him but he isn't a good pass rusher. Castillo and Igore are beasts.
