Colorado -4
Coach Hawkings is under alot of fire lately and needs to make a statement and make it fast. If he doesn't win this game he will lose any support he has of now.
Colorado's coaching staff has shown they were able to make good halftime adjustments against Colo State, falling just short of a comeback. The team's offense has potential, and against a defense like toledo's, who gave up 51 points to Purdue, will be able to score. Purdue lost their leading qb, rb, and wr from a year ago. An embarrasing fact when you see Toledo lost by 21.
The distraction of the gambling and point shaving will have a direct effect on Toledo's focus.
Forget about homefield advantage. Hawkins needs a win and Toledo's distractions will lead to a win for colorado.
3 out of 5 stars Colorado -4

I was thinking Colorado earlier today, but the more I looked at last week's games the more I struggled to pull the trigger on it.

Toledo lost 52-31 last week at Purdue, but the Toledo QB threw for 423 yards! He was 41 of 67 passing... Ridiculous. Not too often do you see 400+ yards passing in College. To be fair, Toledo's D also gave up 500+ yards of offense, and Purdue is potentially the worst team in the Big10 this year.

Colorado lost to Colorado State last week at Home as a big favorite. Only 256 yards of total offense, and only rushed for 29 yards. CSU put up 376 yards of offense and 200+ passing.

So I know it's a Big12 team against a MAC team - But CU is giving points on the road after a bad loss to a rival. I don't buy the "Gambling Distractions", they've been dealing with those allegations for years.

fwiw, i love purdue against oregon tomorrow night, i think theyre undervalued, and toledo may have played the better team on the road, than colorado did at home against a team that lost their best rusher a year ago, toledo plus anything is a great bet in this game, but youve got to always think about this, if this game was on saturday, would u even THINK about playing this game lol
