without a doubt cbb is easier to beat. not easier to cap b/c of the insane amount of teams, but def 100% easier to beat. nba is like betting the NFL except it is everyday. i don't even bother betting NFL or NBA. very few people will beat them consistently
Not sure i qualify as an advanced capper but CBB by MILES. Helps that kids play hard every game and that Tim Donaghy and other scum like him don't ref it. Never met anyone who comes out ahead in NBA although I am sure they are out there.
If you are on top of the NBA, you can make $$$, but you need to be very, very selective. However, I agree with the poster above that the NBA can be such a crapshoot.
But, with that being said, if you really follow the NBA (like it's your job), and you sit on second halves, you can do pretty well...
i just started looking into basketball, of any kind this year. my experiences with nba...well, some nba guys decide to show up some games and then others not give a fuck. college, it's all about giving it everything...most there for scholarships, some trying to earn that NBA rep.
Easiest way to bet the NBA is to follow the top 2 or 3 teams ATS and only bet on them. Some teams have poor ats records road and good at home like Denver or the Mil Bucks that are great on the road and poor at home. Thats another way to get an edge.

I find the NCAA to be easier because when team trails by 8 or 10 at home (i.e, Duke playing Team X, Duke -12 or -13) 2nd Half, you know Duke is probably going to come back and win.
In the NBA, this is just not the case necessarily.
However, in the NBA, there are still some very good opportunities to make money. I think paying attention to the NBA is important as you will find some good plays.
