I will have all of my leans up by tomorrow night.........but I wanted to go ahead and let ya'll know that I will have my 20* CFB GOY or whatever you want to call it posted by tomorrow unless my book doesnt have the line up yet or something....When I saw this line I couldnt believe it was this low!!!!!!! and most are going to think I cant believe its this high!!!!!!!! Anyway, no more hype just thought I would go ahead and start a thread for this week.

back tomorrow or late tonight with the play

CHOMP.....CHOMP!!!! (just a hint about the play!!!!!)

My guess would be Missouri.

Im actually leaning to Okla St in this game..........MIZZOU defense isnt strong enough to shut down OSU........I expect a high scoring game with MIZZOU winning by 10 or less.........you have to remember the Tigers have Texas next on their schedule.......and this game vs OSU is sandwiched in between their bitter rival Nebraska and their biggest game of the season......

no more speculation.......the line has been posted

20* SEC Conference GOY

20* Florida Gators -3 -130
This line will probably go down but I am not even going to wait for it. I am buying down because I would hate to lose because I didnt buy down to a key number but as you can see I really dont think it will matter because if I did I wouldnt be making it such a big play. Florida has a great defense and LSU has a great defense......Florida has a great offense and LSU doesnt!!!!!! It wont matter which QB they use on Saturday Meyer will have his team ready to play and Im sure he will throw everything hes got at the Tigers including double reverse passes and any other trick play that he has. Im not saying he will need trick plays to beat LSU because he doesnt. LSU has played Auburn, No Texas, App St., and Miss St which means they havent played anyone that can put up any points against them until this week!!!!! Florida hasnt played that great of a schedule either but they have put up over 36 points per game this year against their opponents and their only giving up 11.4 points per game. This is the biggest game of the year for the Gators and I dont see them losing and in fact I see them winning by at least 2 TD's!!!!!!!! I just dont see LSU keeping up on the scoreboard. Here are some trends for this game........

Florida is 8-3 ATS vs teams with a winning record
Florida has covered 3 out of the last 4 in this series
Under is 10-2 last 12 meetings (total players)

The only thing I dont like about this game is that LSU has had 2 weeks to prepare but thats it.......I think Miles is a good coach but who wouldnt be with the talent he has at his disposal but I do think that Meyer is the better coach and can do more with less talent as he proved at Utah. Here at Florida he has as much talent as anyone in the country and one of the best Qb's in the country. Really, to me this game is simple.....Who would you take at QB Tebow or Hatch or Lee???? Tebow for sure!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I believe this will be a statement game for Florida at the SWAMP!!!!!!!!!

Bingo. As soon as I read that you thought the line was too low, and others would think it's too high, I knew that was the game it had to be.

GL man. I actually was one of the people that thought it was too high, but will definitely take a look at it more.

definitely take another look...........LSU hasnt played anyone with an offense this year.........remember last years team gave up alot of points and this defense isnt near as good IMO.....how could they after they lost their best player???

Lewis,
I couldn't agree more. I saw this line this morning and I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. In the Swamp! Are they kidding me with this line. If they played on a neutral field I think UF is 7-10 points better. throw in the fact that they have a chip on their shoulder from the loss to Ol' Miss 2 weeks ago, and this is a Big play for me as well.
BOL, my friend:drink: see you at the ticket window.

As a Gator fan I am staying way, way far away from this game. UF has played piss-poor offensively this year and has made very little adjustments (poor OL play, penalties out the ass, poor third down conversion rate, etc). The Arkansas score was deceiving. It was 17-7 going into the 4th quarter. 9-3 going into the 4th quarter vs. Miami and they were losing 24-17 to Ole Miss going into the 4th quarter. And you want to talk about "haven't played anybody". Look at UF's schedule so far!

I could be wrong....but, I wouldn't bet this game with YOUR money!!!

(Here I go again!)....

My first thought after reading this post was that it was joke and submitted by someone who doesn’t understand football and certainly has never played football. One thing is for certain, there is a TON of contradiction and irony in that analysis.

Florida has covered 3 of the last 4 in this series. LSU has WON 3 of the last 4 in this series.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Florida has a great defense? Really? 31 points by Ole Miss?

First off, LSU has won games for the past two years with offense, not defense.

Second, Miles has out-coached Meyer two out of three years. And, Meyer lost FOUR games last year with a Heisman Trophy winner.

Has UF even played ANYONE with a winning record? I think Ole Miss is the only team with a non-losing record (3-3) and UF lost to Ole Miss…..at home. UF may end up winning, but they sure as hell haven't played anyone or beaten ANYONE worth a shit so far. LSU hasn't played many good teams either but at least Auburn has a good defense….and LSU beat them at Auburn with only a couple of games under our belt and a new QB.

I would rather have Tebow…..that’s for certain, but LSU’s offense leads the SEC….in case you overlooked that fact.

This game will be won in the trenches…..not by "trick" plays….and LSU has the better OL & DL. LSU will gash UF for 300 yards rushing, control the clock and win walking away in what turns into a nasty asswhipping. And I'll take side action from anyone who's willing.

LSU 34-17

Haha. that's funny. "LSU will gash UF for 300 yards rushing?":nohead:

I mean are you for real?? 300 yards. Is there a prop bet I can take the under on that? That shows your homerism. I am not saying the Gators are going to kill LSU or even win. I hope we win and think we can win by 3-6 points. But to say LSU gashes UF for 300 yards is the stupidest statement I have heard all year.

I know...that does sound high doesn't it. I should probably have said 200 yards. But, if you think UF covers, then put up your money....I'll be happy to take your action.

Ha. That's what I thought. No way in hell you rush for 300 yards against Florida. Like I said, I would love to bet the under on that.

you sound pissed which is ridiculous.......and to question my understanding of football is amusing....Why are you in my thread if I dont know anything about football????.....I have been on this board for years and have won a ton of money for myself and alot of people.......I only state my take on the game and the reasons that I like Florida right or wrong.....and Im not a Gator fan at all.....Do you want me to tell you what LSU can do???.....I know you are a LSU fan but I believe the Gators win this week........no matter what I say about this game you are going to believe LSU wins.........and thats fine but to come in a thread and bash what I have said is just stupid.......everyone can have an opinion on a game without a doubt.......Some of your points are valid but LSU will have to win this game on the road and this wont be Auburn's offense on the field either which scored 21 points on this vaunted defense.......I think Auburn averages 18 ppg so they managed more than they did against stallwarts Miss St, Vandy, and Tenn.......You could be right but I am putting my money on the home team with the better QB and IMO better coach. Dont ask me for any side bets because I am not interested because this is not personal to me at all. I will win or lose this one to my book.
