Pro sports are getting more and more less enjoyable for me to watch. I catch a few NFL games w/ my buddy who's a die-hard Pats fan, other than that I don't watch it.

I'm a huge college football fan, and college sports fan for that matter. I watch woman's softball, a lot of baseball, most Florida b-ball games....and many NCAA tourney games. I went to a college gymnastics meet last year at George Washington University. I attend at least 3 or more college baseball games/year. I attend at least 2 CFB games/year and as many as 6 college b-ball games here in the DC area.

I have no clue how anyone could be entertained by the NBA. I do catch a few MLB games on tv and attend one or two a year. Golf is exciting occasionally and fighting is fun/entertaining (boxing and MMA).

I'm disgusted by the prices to attend pro sporting events and that is one of the reasons I have soured toward pro sports. The kneeling and disrespect doesn't help either....

Fun Fact that will take just two seconds:

Every state in the U.S. is a "college sports state"

Yep....and you probably paid less than $8 to get in!

There is no reason for an average fan to pay $400 to sit in nosebleed seats for a football game. Hell, the season ticket package shouldn't cost that much!

I have a guy a work with who grew up a Yankees fan. He's 58 years old and said he went to several games growing up and it was very affordable. He said he'll likely never go to another game in his lifetime due to the costs; $100+ for a weeknight game vs. a team w/ a losing record. Doesn't make sense.....

What doesn't make sense about it?

If people weren't willing to pay what it costs to go to a game then the prices would go down.

Cities and the surrounding areas are filled with people who have $ and want something to do on a Wednesday night in July. Concert business is booming because of this as well.

pro sports and the money you pay to see them now is just stupid what you have the money or not, to see a nfl game, parking and food for a family of 4 does not make sense to me.......this is why the players are so over paid and the average fan is lucky to see a couple of games a year now

Okay....as the national trend has seen attendance at (all levels) of sports events falling. But being a Pats fan, sure, life is good. Keep on raisin' the prices! Go tell the fans in Buffalo or Cleveland or Jacksonville you're raising their ticket prices. That'll go over well....

That's easy for me, I'm from Connecticut which just happens to be in New England, I can do without college football.

Furthermore, I'm much less likely to watch games most of the day Saturday than I am on Sunday, Saturday's a busier day in the real life of most Americans. Sunday tends to be more of a day of relaxation.

imo the college game is so much fun, pro sports just go through the motion these days, players play for the money and not for the love of the game

I don't enjoy college football at all.

If Indiana was decent and I had time to tailgate i'm sure I would.
